When a new leadership team at Evolution Mining was experiencing some challenges with its local stakeholders at its Red Lake Operations, BRIDGE© was engaged to conduct an independent assessment of the community’s perceptions and to understand the needs of internal and external stakeholders. This led to a new holistic approach for negotiations and stakeholder engagement. Based on Evolution’s strong commitment to sustainability, and building on Siri’s report and recommendations, we developed a new Stakeholder Engagement Strategy at Red Lake that has greatly improved our relationships with the local and indigenous communities.

I had the pleasure of working with Siri when I was the CEO at First Mining Gold, and Ernst & Young where Siri was part of the Centre for Excellence in Mining. As a client of BRIDGE© , I am continually impressed by the unparalleled knowledge and dedication Siri brings to every project, particularly in areas of sustainability, strategy and risk. Siri’s commitment to excellence and her ability to navigate complex challenges make BRIDGE© an invaluable partner for any organization looking to achieve its strategic goals.

I have had the privilege of working with Siri Genik on several high-profile projects, and I can confidently say that she is an exceptional leader and strategist. Siri’s deep experience in the mining industry, coupled with her bold, visionary approach on multidisciplinary portfolios, has earned her widespread respect and admiration within the sector. She consistently demonstrates an ability to engage diverse audiences with her insightful perspectives and thought leadership.
It was for these reasons that I specifically chose Siri to be a key speaker for our “Courageous Conversations” series at IAMGOLD Corporation, where she shared her expertise with both the Board and employees across our global network on Equity Diversity and Inclusion. Her contribution was invaluable, sparking meaningful dialogue and inspiring action. I look forward to the opportunity to work with her again in the future and highly recommend her to any organization seeking a dynamic, results-driven professional.

Siri Genik joined the Radisson Mining Board of Directors (BoD) in June 2022. She was immediately appointed Chair of the ESG Committee of the BoD.
Her extensive experience was instrumental in establishing a revised and improved approach for ESG principles and matters at the Board level. The management of ESG elements, implementation of best practices, standards and metrics along with ensuring the ESG principles are well communicated and bought-in throughout the whole organization were done under her guidance and leadership.
Furthermore, she brought forward the concept of sustainability and helped the BoD, management and employees to bear in mind our ESG principles and our decisions must reflect sustainability and will adapt to changes over time.
Finally, she played a key role at reinforcing our HR, remuneration and recruitment strategies as Radisson was growing and seeking for expansion.

The multi-billion nickel project Koniambo was launched in 2008. The four key construction elements were a metallurgical plant, an open pit mine, port facilities, and a power plant.
The construction readiness and execution plans were based on several key elements one being the staffing the project. In order to get the required work permits and visas from the New Caledonian and French authorities, Siri Genik (head of the visa centre for the project) had to ensure that all employees (internal, contractors, expats, etc.) had the required training, qualifications, and experience.
Siri had to interface with several internal and external stakeholders in New Caledonia, France, and abroad. Under her leadership we were able to have the necessary workforce to start site activities on schedule and the construction readiness and execution plans were deployed successfully.
Went I left in 2012 KNS had close to 3,000 employees active on site with most of the construction done.
